2002 Borlaug-Ruan Interns

These 13 Iowa high school students took part in the Borlaug-Ruan International Internship Program, working in China, Brazil, Kenya, Peru, Malaysia, Costa Rica, Trinidad, Mexico, India, Ethiopia and the Philippines in the global struggle for food security.

On their return, each student completed a paper documenting their personal experiences and the outcomes of their research projects.
