Norman Borlaug was honored with the U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation's George Brown Award for International Scientific Cooperation during an event last night in Washington, D.C. The award recognizes individuals for work advancing critical issues through cross-border collaboration, in the spirit of the late Congressman's vision.
Borlaug's daughter, Jeanie Borlaug Laube, and World Food Prize president Amb. Kenneth M. Quinn spoke at the event in honor of Dr. Borlaug.
