September 22, 2009 - Norman Borlaug talks famine, Nobel Prize with Wall Street Journal in one of his final interviews

September 22, 2009 -- In one of his final interviews, Dr. Norman E. Borlaug sat down with the Wall Street Journal's Roger Thurow to discuss why famine still exists nearly four decades after he was recognized with the Nobel Peace Prize.

Thurow and his Wall Street Journal colleague Scott Kilman are authors of "Enough: Why the World's Poorest Starve in an Age of Plenty." They will be discussing their book at the 2009 Borlaug Dialogue on Friday, October 16.

Borlaug died on September 12 at the age of 95.
