UN, West Africa leaders speak on necessary investments, steps to prevent food crises in Ebola-affected countries

Ministers of Agriculture from Liberia and Sierra Leone join the UN International Fund for Agricultural Development at press conference broadcast live from The World Food Prize 

What: Following his keynote address at the World Food Prize international symposium, Amb. Kenneth M. Quinn, President of The World Food Prize, will be joined by Kanayo F. Nwanze, President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development; Florence Chenoweth, Minister of Agriculture, Liberia; and Joseph Sam Sesay,Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security, Sierra Leone, at a press conference to address the importance of investing in rural agriculture around the world, especially in the face of issues such as the current Ebola crisis, climate volatility, and other challenges.

When: October 15, 2014, at 2:30 p.m. CDT/3:30 p.m. EDT
