The World Food Prize Harvest Festival is an annual statewide artistic and educational focus on Iowa's agricultural and humanitarian legacy.

Annual highlights of the Harvest Festival include the Laureate Award Ceremony, The Norman E. Borlaug International Symposium, Global Youth Institute, World Food Prize Lecture Series, and the World Food Festival.

Harvest Festival programs and events are planned throughout the state each year to enrich the lives of Iowans. In the past these have included showings of World Food Prize commissioned artwork, musical performances, Iowa Public Television documentaries, college lectures, outdoor recreational events and more.
