Cynthia Milligan

Ms. Cynthia Milligan

Cynthia Milligan received a B.A. with honors from the University of Kansas as well as a J.D. with honors from the George Washington University National Law Center. She held the position of adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law College and the University of Nebraska College of Law, specializing in taxation and banking law. For six years, Ms. Milligan served as Director of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Omaha Branch. She is also the former Director of Banking and Finance for the State of Nebraska.

In 1991, Ms. Milligan formed her own consulting firm for financial institutions and served as President and CEO until 1998 when she became Dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She served as Dean until 2009, when she retired and was named Dean Emeritus of the College of Business Administration.

Ms. Milligan is married to Robert S. Milligan and they have five children. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Wells Fargo, the Gallup Organization, Calvert Funds and Raven Industries, infoUSA and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. She is also a member of numerous civic and community boards including the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital.
