The World Food Prize Foundation

Nic joined the World Food Prize Foundation in January 2004 as a George Washington Carver Intern after assisting with the 2003 International Symposium and Laureate Award Ceremony. Upon completion of his internship, Nic continued to assist with Foundation events, and he returned to the World Food Prize staff part-time as a Communications Associate in May 2005.

Nic graduated cum laude, with honors from Drake University in May 2006 receiving degrees in Magazine Journalism and Law, Politics and Society (LPS). After graduation, Nic assumed full-time employment at the World Food Prize, undertaking a complete overhaul of the foundation's website that was launched in June 2006.
